The Rainbow Club was formed in 1992 and celebrated 25 years with a celebration dinner at Tatum Park, Manakau in 2017.

The club is a social group for gay and bisexual men in the Wellington, Kapiti, Horowhenua and Manawatu regions of New Zealand.
The club meets monthly, usually in private homes of members. Gatherings are BYO pot luck dinners, BBQs, walks, garden visits, theatre, cafes, restaurants - sharing food and good company.
